Special features of the organization

Education (Non-Formal,Formal,Adult Education, Pre School,Adult Education), Community Health, Sustainable Agriculture, Vocational Skills Training, House Upgradation, Micro finance, Local Self Government, Environment and Forest, Gender, Capacity Building, , Youth Activities : Youths of Jeypore in Koraput District from diverse faith and professional background having fire to do something for the development of the society, got themselves organized under the banner of Social Action Group later registered as LEAD to help youth productively participate in the development process. Vocational skills training programmes on driving-cum-mechanic, type-writing, tailoring have benefited 820 nos. of youth of Koraput District. , Educational Complex, LEAD, Sundiguda , Educational Complex a special scheme (under the 8th Five Year Plan Programme of the Govt) launched by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi through NGOs in the pockets where tribal women literacy rate is less than 10%, with the purpose to increase literacy rate of tribal women. , In an academic session 150 tribal girls study primary education (Class I to Class V) in LEAD, Sundiguda village under Badniput Panchayat of Jeypore Block in Koraput District of Orissa State in India. , The girls besides, formal education also get education on preserving and developing of indigenous culture, sustainable agriculture, environment, vocational skills. , A success story of Educational Complex, LEAD, Sundiguda , Dalimbo Jani, d/o Muguri Jani (aged 46 years) and Rasai Jani (aged 42 years) passed the High School Certificate (HSC) Examination, conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha and created history by way of being the first Kondho tribe girl from Odisha to secure first division marks in the HSC examination 2006. The tribals of Koraput in general and Kondho tribe in particular feel proud of her achievement. The Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Nabin Pattnaik has sent a congratulation message to Ms. Dalimbo. On 5th June 2006, Ms. Dalibo was felicitated in a public function organized by State Welfare Board, Orissa. All the local dailies of the District and even the State have highlighted her success story. The local television channel E TV and Radio interviewed Dalimbo and broadcasted. , Responding to the result Dalimbo states that had there been no school in LEAD, Sundiguda it would not have been possible for me to achieve the rare feat since the school provides the first generation learners the required motivation for schooling. , The 5th class pass out students from Educational Complex, LEAD, Sundiguda continue their high school study in different High Schools of the district having hostel facility and even studying in colleges and doing professional courses like engineering, nursing, teaching.
