Langmeidong Dramatic Union

Langmeidong Dramatic Union is a registered professional theatre group of rural Manipur, having 50 members, 13 regular professional artistes. Having own registered land and a temporary building of 350 audience capacity. Construction of a proper building has just completed with financial assistance from department of culture. , Its main objectives are to promote and to propagate the theatre in the rural Manipur, to preserve the folk and ancient values of Manipuris, to work as a powerful media for mass education and to contribute in solving the social problems through theatre, to work for an integrated harmonious co-existence and social upliftment and to nurture new talents.
