In the heart of Williamnagar town Kusimkolgre Youth Association was constructed the Matchi Nokpante the traditional bachelors dormitory with the help of Tourism department Meghalaya Shillong. Nokpante is a traditional bachelors dormitory of the A.chik Garo people. Since the Nokpante represents the distinct cultural identity of the A.chik People its potentiality as an object of tourist attraction can never be underestimated. In contemporary times the Matchi Nokpante is disappearing in Garo Hills
