AGRI and Horticulture Development programm. , The association had conducted a 1 day Agriculture and Horticulture Development Programme at Khumbong on 20th May, 2012. The main objectives of the training programme were to increase the agricultural and horticultural products with better quality as well as to improve the income level of rural farmers through the application of modern and scientific techniques. Varous experts and resource persons from the Central Agricultural University delivered talk/lecture during the programme. High yielding variety seeds and fertilizers were distributed to the farmers as a part of the programme. 40 farmers took part in the programme. , Handloom Development Progamme. , The Association had conducted a two month Handloom Development Programme at Konthoujam Maning Leikai from 1st August to 31st September, 2012. The main objective of the training programme was to improve the income level of the rural BPL women through skill up-gradation. Expert trainers taught the participants on the method of application of nets designs and modern technique in their traditional designs. Raw materials were provided at free of cost during the training programme. 50 women took part in the programme. They were also benefited with the managerial skill of their products and SHGs were formed as a follow up action of the programme. , Women Labour Welafe Programme. , One day women and child labour awareness programme was conducted at Konthoujam village in collaboration with Labour Department, Government of Manipur, Imphal on 20th August to 21st August, 2012. Resource persons from labour department were talk and delivered to public. In this programme 87 women and child were participated. , Livestock Development Programm. , The association organized Livestock Development programme at Veterinary dispensary, Konthoujam. In this programme 25 milk cow arid 35 bulls were vaccinated by the expert Veterinary Doctors, arid talk about management of Livestock to veterinary farmers by district veterinary officer, Imphal West.
