Kalagangotri, a theatre group established in 1971 is promoting theatre activities in Karnataka performing plays of different authors and has given over 3000 shows across India and abroad. , Kalagangotri is also a mime troupe and has trained 100s of students in mime. , Achievements: , 1. The troupe has been performing from past 36 years the great political satire Mukyamantri and has seen over 600 shows. , 4. We have give over 1200 mime performances. , 5. We have performed a family musical play Mysooru Mallige over 225 shows from past 10 years. , 6. Troupe has performed Sarswathi samman awarded novel based play Mandra. , 7. Troupe has performed Jnanapeetha awarded novel based play Mookajjiya Kanasugalu. , 8. Troupe is organizing theatre workshops every year to promote theatre activities among school, college children and Youth. , 9.
