Jawaharlal Memorial Social Welfare & Public Cooperation Centre is a Voluntary Organization Registered under Charitable Societies Registration Act with register No. K 19, 1970. Since inception, the Organization has been working for the welfare and development of the weaker sections of the society. , , The goal of the Organization is to identify the disadvantaged and oppressed and to tackle their problems through compassionate approaches through training, education, and motivation of people for collective leadership to become an effective instrument of a change for a just and tolerant society. , , Jawaharlal Memorial Social Welfare & Public Cooperation Centre is a non-political and secular Organization and is represented in various forums of the Government of Kerala and the Government of India in rural and women development planning and allied areas. , , The Organization has had the patronage of various agencies like Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Family Welfare, Central Social Welfare Board, NABARD, CAPART, UNICEF, Kerala State AIDS Control Society, World Bank, Rubber Board, NYK, Hindustan Newsprints, Cochin Refineries Ltd., etc. , Major Activities: , 1 Jawahar Family Counselling Centre sponsored by CSWB , 2 Jawahar De- Addiction & counselling centre, sponsored by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment , 3 Jawahar Suraksha Projectsponsored by Kerala State AIDS Control Society , 4 Jawahar handicraft , 5 Jawahar screw pine Craft Cluster development programme sponsored by Ministry of Textiles , 6 Vocational Training Programme for Youth Youth Development Centre , 7 Other Programmes , The Organization will conduct PNDT (Pre Natal Diagnosis Technique) awareness programme for the rural population. Creches sponsored by CSWB, HNL and KRL are functioning well. Recently started Nursery Technique programme of CAPART is also well in function.
