Profile of the NGO-JANA SAKHA PARIDHAD , , Jana Sakha Parishad, (The Public Friendly Council) is a registered local NGO working in the Jeypore sub division of Koraput district and Nandahandi , Tentulikhunti , Kosagumuda , Dabugaon, Papadahandi and Nabarangpur Block of Nabarangpur district of Orissa, India since 2000 with the aim of improving the (Socio-economic condition of poor and down trodden people (especially women ) of the society and all round development of their health , education with environs and animals they live. , , , Organization Jana Sakha Parishad, (The Public Friendly Council), registered under Foreign Contribution act and 12 (AA) and 80 (G) of Income Tax (Exemption) Act. Jana Sakha Parishad,(ngo-jsp) has taken an integrated and innovative development approach to solve the problems of economic and health hazards. It tries to foster self confidence, cooperation and self reliance among the people through education and people s organization . , , , The main activities include (Education i.e. non formal education, Adult education , female education-1 , Health development i.e. awareness campaign against all type of fatal disease such as T.B, leprosy , cancer , cataract awareness and prevention programme against HIV/AIDs-2, awareness against the environment protection , utility of tree plantation, utility of preservation of animals etc .For the women and child development/ empowerment , the organization organized hundred of self help group in the district of Koraput, state- Orissa, India, and for the child protection the organization already organized numbers of Child protection union (locally known us the Sisu Suraskhya Samiti ). Besides the organization has the largest N.G.O network (the network consist by the registered village /urban women union/NGOs which are organized by the organization Jana Sakha Parishad) in its area of operation. Besides The Ministry of Women Child Development (Government of India) has sanctioned a SWADHAR home (As shelter home for women ) proposal in favour of the JANA SAKHA PARISHAD , Jeypore (Korput) in the year 2009-2010.
