Major activities / achievement , , 1- Major Activities To organize skill development and skill up gradations prgromme for the clientele, i.e. women beneficiaries to organize different awareness activities on state and national issues such as environment, population, Education, Savings, Women empowerment, AIDS awareness programme health hygiene, nutrition. , 2- MANDATE Skill development prgoramme & life enrichment education of those who are in the age group of 15-35 years having no or rudimentary levels of education. , 3- PRIORTIES- Women, SCs/STs/ OBSCs other economically weaker section minorities. Rural areas and urban slums. , 4- Clientele - persons specially women is the age group of 15-35 year and beyond having no & rudimentary revel of education, more so belonging to SC/ST/OBC and minorities in the rural & urban slum. , 5- TRAINING to organize training programme for new resource person to organize training progrme for resource persons & Key person under Sakshar Bharat Abhiyan launched by N.L.M. , 6- Skill development activity on Lokshiksha Kendra under Sakshar Bhart Abhiyan. ( Proposed ) , , The overall objective of J.S.S. is providing quality training & ensure that our beneficiaries get gainful employment, wage employment & self employment. The whole affairs of J.S.S. governed by Board of Management which is sanctioned by G.O.I., M.H.R.D. New Delhi under the guidence of Directorate of Adult Education, New Delhi. , , Achievement , , - J.S.S. Kota have been working since 1982( before 2000 it was SVP) J.S.S. Kota is one of the pioneer institution of the country who developed its own Big Building through mobilizing local resource. , , - 95% beneficiaries belonging to women. , - J.S.S. having good report with district administration. , , - All programmes are offered free of cost to the weaker section. , , - Kota got highest literacy rate 74.45as per 2001 censes J.S.S. Kota played significant role in achieving this traget. , , - J.S.S. Kota having tie up with DSCL & CFCL & other local industries also. , , - J.S.S. Kota is a nodal training agency for different govt. sponsored training scheme like Z.S.S. S.J.S.R.Y, RMOLE, SJRY, Narega etc.
