Functions of JSS Aurangabad , 1 Organize vocational training for under educated deprived category people specially women. , 2 Organise awareness programme for beneficiaries on various National International Days , 3 Organize exhibition for sale of beneficiaries products. , 4. Organize capacity building training for vocational courses. , 5. Organize activities in sansad aadarsh grams. , 6. Awareness campaign for different government schemes like PMSBY, Mudra Yojna , , 7. Every year 2000 to 2500 beneficiaries are trained in 100 to 115 batches. , Along with this awareness of government schemes like PM like PMSBY, Mudra Yojna etc and enrollment of beneficiaries is also done. , 8. Different National & International Important Days are observed in the field so that the beneficiaries are made aware on those issues Exhibition and sale of products prepared by beneficiaries also organized. Beneficiaries are motivated for self employment Date of Success Stories is maintained. , , Mejor achievement in the year 2015-16 , , 1. Trained 2124 beneficiaries in 107 vocational trainings batches. , 2. 3753 beneficiaries covered in awareness activities. , 3. PMSBY Awareness campaign-As per suggestions from Central Govt JSS, Aurangabad organized an awareness and form filling campaign for the rural people in rural areas. JSS networked with other departments like women and child development, aanganwadis, Lupin Foundation etc and filled 2177 forms in around 10 villages and slums. , Awareness on MUDRA yojna- JSS ran a campaign in all the courses and ex beneficiaries on awareness about MUDRA yojna. Four beneficiaries have received loan under MUDRA yojna. Few others are trying for the same. , Vocational trainings in Sansad Aadarsh Gram Yojna-As per the instructions from Central Govt. JSS, Aurangabad organized vocational trainings in two villages adopted by MP s Ellora and Aadgaon . 216 beneficiaries were trained in different trades like tailoring, beauty parlour, hand embroidery etc. , Exhibitions- To give market exposure to the beneficieries two exhibitions were arranged. Products of beneficiaries were sold there. Beneficiaries were motivated to prepare products of good finish. Few realized that they can do business. Some knew where improvement is necessary. , , 6. Success Stories on the occasion of 8 March 2016 International Womens Day 2016, 13 Success stories of JSS Aurangabad were published in the news paper Maharashtra Times dated 8 March 2016.
