Special features of the organization

The organization has been working for about 19 years for the Child Establishment Programme in 60 village of Akbarpur Block supported by CRY since 1997 to 30 June 2014. , There was along with troubled children from brick industries fellowship started in year 1997 and in year 2000 this program changed. And 13 GP along with 60 villages of Akbarpur block and 2 wards of Nagar Panchayat Iltifatganj of Tanda block of the district as primary level started with mainly 4 points as right to living right to development right to security right to participation. , , CHANGE ENABLED , 13092 children enrolled in school , 640 children identified with malnutrition , 292 children immunized , 271 birth registrations provided , 53 childrens groups formed , 50 new ICDS centers opened , , WHAT CHANGED , A large section of the population in Ambedkar Nagar district is landless. Marginal families have migrated to other cities in search of a livelihood. Dalits are discriminated in society and are forced to live in separate hamlets. , To make matters worse there are additional issues of discrimination against orphans and children with special needs pitiful state of government education facilities and a defunct health delivery system. , Today, there is a good understanding on the status and issue of children and violation of their rights in the region , Jan Shikshan Kendra (JSK) is working in 60 villages in the region since the last 18 years. The organization has been instrumental in mobilizing the community and forming CBOs to address the issues of child rights violation education, health and livelihood. , JSK focus areas are - to reduce maternal mortality and infant mortality, regularization of government service delivery mechanism, awareness on birth registration immunization and regular health check-ups reducing malnutrition and strengthening of infrastructure to provide quality education. , Empowering Rural Women programme in 40 panchayat Since 1 feb 2010 to 31 Jan 2014 in Jalalpur block supported by SDTT , , Manrega PDS Gram Sabha , Collectivization and strengthen of 6504 of 40 GPs as Savitri bai fule nari sangh. , Job demand increased with participation from 30 percent. , PDS improved as per standerd distribution made and non opening shops moves as running mode by NS. , Participation increased in Gram Sabha by 50 percent. , , Community Health programme is running in 40 Panchayat Since 1 April 2013 in jallalpur block supported by SJTT , By the support of SJTT and in monitoring of PANI there are Health initiative program started in 40 GPs that was issue of NS own. In which NS members want to improve their reproductive and maternal health along with malnourishment of children. This program is covering this aims with Adolescent health, child health, maternal health and environmental health with the hygiene and sanitations. NS made their object VHSNC roles and responsibilities including collectivization and strengthen. NS ensuring VHSNC empowerment and NHM aims.
