Special features of the organization

Jammu & Kashmir Students Welfare Mission, henceforth known as JKSWM is a Registered Social Development Organization registered under J & K Societies Registration Act 1998 (1941 AD) and is also registered under Section 12AA of Income Tax Exemption Act 1961. It is a non for profit, a non political and a social development organization without any discrimination of creed, caste, colour , gender, region and such else. The organization has its Central Office at Ashtangoo, Bandipora besides two Branch Offices at Nowpora Bandipora and Kangan, Ganderbal. The organization has been established to work for welfare means of the society. It works for the upliftment, awareness and development of common masses in the fields of Education , Environment, Health , Women Empowerment, Children , Information Technology, Art & Culture, Handloom, Handicrafts and other allied sectors of social interest. The said organization has organized many events like seminars, debates, awareness pragrammes, cultural programmes, free medical camps, training programmes etc. to enhance the social development and to improve the quality of life. The organization has also conducted many quiz competitions, spot discussion, painting competitions, seminars, talent promotion scholarship tests etc. to improve the quality and standard of the society.
