Main activities: , Agriculture development. , Infrastructure development including education, health, sanitation and nutrition promotion at the village level. , Self help group promotion. , Promotion of participatory theatre for change , Intervention to develop model village , Forest protection and NTFP marketing. , Children rights and entitlements , Women development and empowerment , Pachayati Raj , Health and family welfare , , Achievements: , , IAEET has been taking up suitable strategies in the field of natural resource management, functional education and rural technology to bring about a transformation of the face of the area. Agriculture and forestry are the main sources of livelihood of the people. IAEET has tried to convert the subsistence nature of farming by integrating the traditional methods with special methods of organic cultivation, which includes SRI (System of Rice Intensification, vermin composting) in the region. We are also facilitating the promotion of various cash crops such as Ginger, Turmeric, Onion, Garlic and off-season vegetables. IAEET is also promoting mushroom cultivation as livelihood support for the rural masses and facilitating its marketing in these Districts. IAEET believes that unless people are awakened and empowered, little development in the true sense of the term can take place. So, the main work of IAEET has been to put more ideas into people s heads before they work wholeheartedly with their hands; and this has been done by our Community Based Theatre as a means of transmitting feelings and ideas. This area is blessed with a varied and abundant forest resources particularly the minor forest produces ,our organization has been facilitating participatory forest management and we are also trying to provide marketing linkage so that the people would get an alternative source of income. , , Besides, IAEET has also been facilitating different programmes not only in the form of delivery of services but also as a catalytic agent of development in conformity with the tribal philosophy and psychology. Moreover, it has been mobilizing resources for awarding an alternative basis of social security in the long run. IAEET in order to bring about gender equity in the region has constituted the Women Self Help Groups (WSHGs) as the agents of change and promoted these groups in its action area and we further hope to empower the women groups by providing them with a platform to carry out their small businesses
