IEED s is associated with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Gandhinagar, Gujrat to execute Diploma in Business Entrepreneurship- an open learning programme. It aimed to build the capacity of college students, educated unemployed, housewife s and businessman etc. , , Conservation of Indigenous traditional knowledge by promoting madhubani painting, handmade Jwellery products and handicraft products made up of cane, bamboo etc. at Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur disticts of Bihar. , , Sustainable livelihood promotion based on propagation of indigenous plant species (bamboo) at Jermundy Block, Dumka District, Jharkhand , , Meeting challenges of livelihood through jute cultivation in Godda block of Godda district of Jharkhand , , Organized Green Teacher programme of Centre for Environment Education (CEE), Ahmedabad and Vancuvor Agency , Canada in year 2006. , One day seminar was organized to make aware the people about the ground water contamination and health hazards at Hasanpur block of Samastipur districts, Bihar on 14 October 2005 , , An awareness camp was organized to sensitize people of Jagdeo Path locality towards a mass plantation drive on 13 July 2006. , , Organized Human Chain and school competitions in association with Bihar State pollution Control Board (BSPCB), Patna and CEE on changing environmental conditions and its impact on public health by involving 10 National Green Corps Schools of Patna, at Government Boys High School, Shastri Nagar Patna on 7 April 2007. , , Achievements , , 1.Capacity building of 20 Teachers on Environment and sustainable development through Green teacher programme. , , 2.Provision of livelihood of about 500 families by their involvement in madhubani painting, handmade Jwellery products and handicraft products made up of cane, bamboo etc. in Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur districts of Bihar , , 3.Availability of livelihood resources for about 500 families and promoting biodiversity conservation through propagation of bamboo and Jute at Germundy block of Dumka district and Godda block of Godda district , Jharkhand. , , 4.Community level awareness and capacity building of 400 families for use of existing water and sanitation facilities in 3 panchayats of Hasanpur Block of Samastipur disrtict and 2 panchayats of Baheri block of Darbhanga district. , , 5.Provision of toilet facility to 300 families under total sanitation campaign (TSC) of Sarari Panchayat of Danapur block of Patna disrtict. Under this programme toilets will be provided to 500 more families in the same Panchayat. , , 6.Organised Entrepreneurship Development Programme(EDP) on Food Processing with the support of Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Govt. of India,New Delhi at Samastipur and Darbhanga districts of Bihar,Duration- May to June 2009.
