HPVHA has initiated many project focused on health and developmental issues in the state. The organisation is working the following issues. , Swachh Bharat Abhiyan: HPVHA is implementing Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in all villages of Bilaspur and Hamirpur districts and Amb Block of Una districts. The organisation is focusing on the construction of individual toilets in all households and Management of Solid and Liquid Waste in the rural areas. Under HIV Prevention and Care the organisation is implementing Targeted Intervention Project, Care and Support Centre for HIV infected people. The organisation if providing preventive support to 300 Female Sex Workers and 100 Male Sex with Male in Shimla city. Through care and support services the organisation has linked more than 700 PLHIV with social security schemes. The Shubharambh project is focused on nutritional support and health services among the children and women in industrial area like Baddi. More than 3500 mothers and 1000 children are benefiting through the project. The project is supported by Mondeleze under CSR. Health Care Center Barmana is focsed on STI clinics for Truckers and allied community. The project is providing its services to more than 5000 truckers and allied community. The project is joint CSR activity of ACC and Apollo. Childline is implementing in Shimla and Solan district. The projects are focusing on child rights. More than 1000 children have been rehabilitated and rescued by both the childlines. The organisation is running a open shelter for street children and child in need.
