Habitat Forum (INHAF) successfully developed a study and a research methodology based on themes such poor defining poverty line, investment watch, how city delivers its entitlements for poor . , We also compiled and printed a book covering six organizations of informal sector workers from Pune in Marathi and English languages. , Along with other partners and stakeholders INHAF organized Zopadpatti Punarvasan Parishad in Pune to address issue of rural and urban housing. , We gave presentation to Govt of India in addressing its role at Habitat III which is the United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development to take place in Quito, Ecuador, in October 2016. , INHAF has taken initiative in developing strategy for Indian Civil Society based on themes and issues which are uncovered in national policies, programs and development actions. , INHAF with its partner organization has piloted a project on promotion of bamboo as an alternative construction material for affordable housing for poor , Way Forward Chennai is one of our initiatives on strategy development for resilient cities using case study of Chennai for its recent floods.
