OBJECTIVES OF GURU GOPAL PANDA ODISSI ACADEMY , To propagate Odishi Music as a distinct and unique style of Music in India and abroad . , To offer various necessary and well justified approaches to prove the classical status of Odissi music by organizing different music seminars ,forums , concerts, lecture demonstration ,workshop ,exhibition ,symposium, talk ,etc .on Odissi music. , To follow and promote the original and age-old traditional as well as structurally well- approached Raga Raginis of Odissi music through different media and means of publications. , To teach the above said raga raginis to the new generation so as to facilitate better and effective propagation of Odissi music. , To popularize rag raginis of odishi music through different means of publication as well as by practicle performance as stage performance, different demonstrations, etc., by various artists. , To formulate and execute different schemes and musical means which may be necessary for the development of odishi music etc. , To facilitate, honour and reward different personalities and devoted Gurus and scholar belong to different cultural activities of various streams. , To organize compititions and talent hunt programme to find out new budding artists in the field of odishi music. , To provide scholarship, prizes, etc. to poor and meritorious students of odishi music. , To publish documents, new letters, papers, articles, books, periodicals etc., on odishi music. , , ACHIEVEMENTS , GGPO Academy has been producing odishi raga CDs consecutively from last three years. These CDs have been produced as a collection of the authentic odishi ragas.
