Water harvesting and harnessing for bringing up water table, preventing salinity ingress in soil and water. , Creating wind breaker plantation of Casurina for preventing damage to plants & trees due to saline breeze. , Development of Orchards. , Later on agency started issue based activities and also engaged itself in empowerment of women through creating awareness, capacity building, self employment and skill training and taking up issues like Gender Discrimination, Girl Child Education, Harassment of women and other social evils like dowry, child marriage, advocacy and if necessary agitation for human rights. , GVT now works on issues of Health, Food and water security, education, Employment and Panchayati Raj. , Many state level and international agencies and Govt. and also corporate houses have funded several projects in the fields of watershed development, afforestation, development of orchards, empowerment of women, disaster mitigation post earth quake, prevention of salinity etc. over a period of 27 years and initially GVT started with one village and now its activities are spread over villages in okhamandal and kalyanpur blocks. , , water supply and sanitation , , A project funded by water supply and sanitation organization of the Govt. has been implemented in the year 2004-05 in 13 + 15 villages of both Okhamandal and Kalyanpur block. , HIV AIDS project , , The project of National AIDS control programme is being implemented since the year 2002 and it still continues. Earlier Rupen bander area of Dwarka was the target area and now the programme is being implemented in Dwarka for FSW and MSM. The project has been implemented in innovative way by initially organizing groups of women, undertaking credit and saving activities and also encouraging and assisting them in finding solutions of the problems of the habitat. GVT is in the core committee of Gujarat State AIDS Control society.
