Special features of the organization
1. Conducted 45 days Skill Development Certificate Course for Rural youth for Employability to 39 Rural youth. Out of 39 trainees 36 trainees got placement in 3 companies. , 2. Implemented Better Cotton Initiative (BCI)project in 71 villages with 6009 farmers in 5565 Ha. On an average net income of Rs 16710 per Ha was increased and a total amount of Rs 9,29,91,150 farmers income was saved. , 3. Established Toll free Help line- Kisan Call centre (1800 425 3377) in KVK and providing timely technical support to the farming community for location specific problems. , 4. Created a Whatts APP Group on the name of KARIMNAGAR AGRI GROUP and providing timely technical support to all line department officers. , 5. Conducted State level workshop on Promotion of Murrel culture in Telangana State with the support of NFDB , 6. Produced746quintal s of Batukamma ( JGL-18047) and 230 quintals of Telangana Sona ( RNR 15048) paddy seed and provided to 3904 farmers of 5 districts , 7. Produced 200780 no. of Vegetable seedlings and provided to 71 farmers of 3 districts , 8. Conducted Kharif & Rabi Kisan sammelan, Jai Kisan Jai Vigyan, World Soil Health day and farmers fair on PMFBY at KVK as per ICAR guidelines. , 9. Procured Mobile Soil testing Kit and analyzed 1315 no. of soil samples and provided soil health cards to farmers. , 10. Conducted RAWEP to final year B.Sc(Agri) students of Loyola Academy of Degree and PG College, secunderabad. , 11. Stem application in Cotton is demonstrated in 165 villages,2310 farmers fields and area covered in 1420ha and cost of cultivation is reduced 2850Rs/ha , 12. Yellow sticky traps installation in different crops for sucking pest management in 96 villages,1994 farmers fields and area covered in 846ha and cost of cultivation is reduced 2430Rs/ha. , 13. Pesticide spray precautionary wearing dress (at the time of chemical spray protecting from the chemicals) is supplied to 292 farmers. , 14. Bio fungicide Trichoderma viridi is supplied to 122 farmers for wilt management in different crops through soil application. , 15. Out of 61 rural Youth (31 members from Tailoring & 30 members from Beauty parlor management) 38members were self employed and earning monthly income by giving their works to public. The programme has been completed with financial support of NABARD, Karimnagar. , 16. Five new fish farms site locations were identified for individual fish farm development , 17. Eight captive nursery ponds developed for fish fingerlings production for self stocking , 18. Supplied 135000 nos quality advanced fish fingerlings to 21 Fishermen cooperative Society tanks ( FCS tanks) , 19. Supplied 2630 one month old giriraja chicks and 17 Nellore breed rams to 152 farmers
