Graameeya Makkal Abivirudhi Iyakkam (GRAMEEYAM) having its Headquarters at D/No 6/72,Siruvani main road ALANDURAI P.O, Coimbatore -641101 and running 20-Bedded Hospitals, and Two Mobile Medical care Units have applied for grant-in-aid for the year 2010-2011. , Their application for Grant-in-aid for their on-going schemes for the year 2010-2011 addressed to the Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Tribal Affairs has been submitted through this office on 01.07.2010 The institutions have been inspected and the notes of inspection is as follows: , , Graameeya Makkal Abivirudhi Iyakkam (GRAMEEYAM) is a registered organization rendering services mainly to the Primitive Tribal (Irular) Groups in the District in various fields like Health, Vocational Training like Tailoring, 20-Bedded Hospitals, and Two Mobile Medical care Units. , The Grant-in-aid applied for by the Association for the year 2010-2011 is especially for the Health Services rendered by them. The audited accounts and Utilization certificate for the year 2009 2010 are enclosed herewith. Now, Graameeya Makkal Abivirudhi Iyakkam (GRAMEEYAM) has submitted proposals for the year 2010-2011 for release of grant of Rs. 73,14,318/- , Activities: , , 20 -Bedded Hospital and Mobile Dispensaries , , OTHER PROGRAMMEESS OF , , 1. Vocational training for tribes Youth , , 2. SHG for tribes Women , , , Though the association is involved in so many activities, they have applied for Grant-in-aid for maintenance of the Graameeya Makkal Abivirudhi Iyakkam (GRAMEEYAM) namely running the 20-Bedded Hospital and Mobile Dispensaries Units in Thondamuthur Block. , 20-Bedded Hospital and Mobile Dispensaries , All the above said schemes are functioning in the Thondamuthur block Coimbatore district. The Association is registered with Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for receiving foreign contributions vide registration No.075850124. Annual returns in Form FC-3 were submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi for the year 2009-2010. , This hospital is located at Alandurai near tribal Settlement, which is 48 Kms away from Coimbatore Medical College Hospital. This hospital is well equipped with 20 Bedded Clinical Laboratory, ECG and in the scheme Mobile dispensaries is always visited about 30 tribal settlements.
