HEALTH , Community Mobilization , Slum sensitization, Mahila Arogya Samiti(MAS) formation and orientation and strengthening, Formation and orientation of Ward Kalyan Samiti, Formation and orientation of Rogi Kalyan Samiti, Training to Front Line Workers (Urban ASHAs and AWWs) , Mobile Health Unit (MHU) , The mobile health unit has covered 205 slums of Bhubaneswar city and the health screening and treatment has done in a well- planning manner to cover all the slums equally. In the year 2015-16 total 12679 patients were treated , AWARENESS CAMP , Yoga camp: On 22nd June 2015 on the eve of World Yoga Day GJS has organized a yoga camp with collaboration with Artatrana Bidya Niketan. Around 130 students have participated on the eve and did yoga asana and the instructor taught them the usefulness of various yoga asana. , RTI and STI awareness: The reproductive tract Infection and sexual transmitted disease are very common during the adolescent period. So to educate various prevention methods and hygiene practices camps were organized at various slums of Bhubaneswar. , AIDS Awareness Program:For the year 2015-2016 Gopinath Juba sangha (GJS) organized World AIDS Day on 1st December 2015 in JANJYOTI SEVA SANGHA, Kedarpalli, Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar. , DENGUE, MALARIA & FILARIA AWARENES: , During this year we have organized Malaria & Filaria eradication program at Brahmeswar patna Basti on dated 19/03/2016 and 125 no slum peoples were participated. 20 no of Pala Programs have arranged and played in urban slum as well as on rural areas of Balipatana, Khordha and Jatani & Pipil Blocks. , Water, Sanitation & Hygiene , Construction of IHHL under Swachha Bharat Mission:- , In this year under Swaccha Bharat Mission GJS appointed two coordinators each in Balipatna, Balianta, Jatani, Bhubaneswar block of Khordha district. Under this project 800 Individual House Hold Latrine were constructed by GJS with the financial aid by District Water Sanitation Mission, Khordha under Swachha Bharat Mission (Gramin) project. , Awareness to create Open Defecation Free Village , To ensure sanitation facilities in rural areas with broader goal to eradicate the practice of open defecation. , Women Empowerment:- , We have formed 80 no of SHG groups in Balipatana and Balianta Block. Capacity building training was given to 400 no of SHG members regarding making of Badi, Papad, Spices, Bamboo works, Agarbati making, appliqu and mushroom cultivation. , Agriculture & Animal Husbandary , Awareness on Dairy Farming , 2 no of interface have made with local farmers. 64 no of women have attended by our resource person Dr. Sudarshan Bhuyan (Rtd. Professor). , Mushroom Cultivation , Due to lack of training facility regarding production of mushroom the farmers are facing lot of problems. In this context we have arranged a training camp regarding mushroom cultivation. 42 no of women have trained on that training camp. , EDUCATION:- , Children Education Program , We have engaged part time teachers of different courses about 200 poor school going children of poor family have benefited by this program. , Our organization managing 2 no of UPHCs on Bhubnaeswar & Berhampur. 2 no of MHUs have been moving in different slums of BBSR.
