GOPINATH CLUB

Gopinath Club has been implementing various programmes on health, education, culture and rural community development with the most marginalized section in their participation and involvement. It has achieved so many successive steps on health promotion in rural communities implementing immunization programmes. It has developed so many balwadis and trained ANMs & AWWs in support of child education and health at grass root level. It has also been addressing district level awareness programmes for the development of culture and traditions of Orissa. , GC as a grass root level organization implemented so many programmes with the community for the betterment in the areas of health, education and livelihood. Various cultural groups were supported and encouraged to present their best at the community to encourage people for an inclination towards ancient culture of orissa. It rather provided scope to other groups of energetic youths for creating various cultural groups on folk songs, dances and dramas. The awareness for the care towards the geriatric persons, distressed women and orphans were also undertaken with the CBOs, SHGs, ANMs, AWWs, youth clubs and various district level and state level stakeholders. , With the activities of health and educational development GC had undertaken various awareness programmes with the teachers, parents and the district level authorities of education. GC organized so many health camps at different block level health quarters for the treatment of the common ailments which rather infected into the chronics GC has undertaken so many programmes on disability. The children with disability, person with disability and women with disability were included into the target groups and provided rehabilitation at the community. So, various training programmes were undertaken for the parents to prepare them for supporting the activity daily living skill of the CWDs/ PWDs/WWDs to provide them a right to live with dignity. , , GC has host the leadership among other agencies has been working at social field. The remarkable result of the interventions encouraged the people to support GC for leading the community in support of their health, education and livelihood.
