Gaden shartse Dokang Khangtsen Traditional Education Promotion Society completed 4 year of service. The primary goal of the society is three fold preserve Culture, Education and Health. , In the field of education, the centre strives to encompass both moral and modern Education through its work the centre work to instill traditional values like moral ethics, compassion and sense of other well being in the students to create a harmonious society. Besides the moral Education the society works provide the students modern education that acts as a backbone for an individual career as well as for the development of one s family and his nation at large the modern Education includes the rich Buddhist Cultural heritage from the Himalayan belt, providing exposure to the modern outside world, introduction to various modern scientific Educations. Towards this ends, the society spends more than 80% of the financial aids from outside sources to provide facilities necessary or such Education to realize. Funds are mostly spent for facilities like construction of new improvement of existing school building class room, text books, and staffs salaries and so on. , In providing the Education, it is paramount important to ensure the students are physically healthy due to this, we also invest our financial sources in the heath of Students by spending our funds in hospital and health care in initiatives. , Observing Special days , The society by virtue of its location in India observes and marks all important occasion of India apart from our own important dates including Indian RepublicDay,Buddha Shakyamuni Birth,Enlightment and Parinivana Day, Brithday of the his Holiness the Dalai Lama,The independence Day, Ghanti jayanti etc. , , Another important work that the society has done to promote religious harmony among different faith and also to promote harmonious relation between different sects within a religion. To realize that, the society observes all important dates of different religion holds introductory class to teach about , , Various traditions, conducts debate and discussions to promote the importance of harmonious existence between different faiths.
