Evangelical Baptist Convention Lamka Rehabilitation and Research Centre

Evangelical Baptist Convention/Lamka rehabilitation and research centre has opened and run more than 20 Lower, Primary and Higher Secondary school across the state of manipur. It has been producing successful students through these schools. Lamka rehabilitation and research centre has been running Drug Deaddiction, Counselling and Rehabilitation Centre with support from GOI since 1989 and Rapid Intervention and Care (TI) project among injecting drug users and Wex Workers against the spread of HIV & AIDS in churachandpur district since 1995. Through its PPTCT intervention program it could save 62 babies (test done after 18 Months) from getting infected through their mothers this project was started sine 2005. EBC/LRRC has been providing Care and support to 62 CLHAs, these children were tested for their CD4 every six months. The benefits and impact of its ts Drug Deaddiction , Counselling and Rehablitation centre can be gauzed from the numbers of person it could rehabilitate and who are playing an important role in the society as Youth leaders etc.
