Recognizing the importance of developing Entrepreneurship, the Government of Nagaland declared two consecutive years from 2010 to 2012 as the Year of the Entrepreneur a flagship program to develop entrepreneurship especially among the youth. Commemorating this, the Govt of Nagaland bestowed a cash award of 10 Million (In Rs.) to EA in 2010 and enabled EA to create a Seed Fund of 25 Million (In Rs.) in 2011. We have been privileged to receive other recognitions including the prestigious Naga Mothers Association (NMA) Award of 2003 and also the Citizens Based Initiative Award 2001 with Rs.1 Lakh cash award, given by Ashoka Innovators for the Public based, Washington DC, USA. , This year, EA has also been awarded the prestigious Social Entrepreneur of the Year (SEOY) 2016 in India by the World Economic Forum s initiative Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship for its work on entrepreneurship.
