Major Activities Report of EFG 2016 , , April Activities , A Wild Dog was rescued by EFG Organization from Kangching Village, Longleng District on 15th April, 2016 and donated it to Nagaland Zoological Park (NZP), Dimapur on Saturday 16th April, 2016. , Deputy Ranger, NZP, Shri. Thripong Sangtam also encouraged and appreciated the EFG Organization for the concerning over the protection of Wildlife in particular and Environment in general. In addition, EFG and NZP will look forward to collaborate with each other in days to come. , Earth Day 2016 , Earth Day 2016 was observed by Earth Friendly Generation with the theme, Greenery for the Future Generation (EFG) at Chiephobozou on 22nd April, 2016. It was a wonderful program. Altogether around 400 people participated in the earth friendly awareness program from various Govt., departments, Assam Riffles, Nagaland Police, schools, churchs, association, clubs and institution having office at Chiephobozou. , Special guest of the program was EAC, Shri Ruopf kuotuo Nuodi, during the short speech he highlighted the importance of the Environment Protection and the impact of the global warming. He also said that everyone should preserve and love the nature. To show that we can plant trees, he stated. Besides that he has encourage the EFG teams for such initiatives and assure to give full support in the days to come from administrative side. , In Summing up, Live demo on Earth Day 2016 was presented by the Students from, Govt Hr. School, Chiechama, Don Bosco Hgh School, Govt High Schoool, Govt Middle School, Chiephobozou Town. Followed by tree plantation with a name plate initiated by EAC and the departments concern present for the day. , June Activities , More than 2000 tree saplings have been donated by EFG to various NGOs, Students Unions, Associations ; Namely - Crankers Cycling Environment Club, Childline Kohima, Adolescent Girls Club under Nagaland Social Welfare Board, St. Joseph s College Jakhama Philanthropy Association, Gideon Associations Zakhama and individuals in the month of June 2016. , , July Activities , EFG Director, Keduolhoukho Chadi attended 1 (one) Interaction Programe with Global ACUMEN Fellowship on 8th July, 2016 at Niathu Resort, Dimapur. , Cleanliness Drive , On 16th July 2016, Earth Friendly Generation (EFG) and well wisher had carried out Cleanliness Drive and Beautification of Park at Chiephobozou Town. In a statement, EFG organized this cleanliness drive to keep the surroundings clean for healthy living and better environment. , 1st Inter School Drawing Competition , Earth Friendly Generation (EFG) organized the 1st Inter School Annual Drawing Competition on 20th July 2016 at EFG Conference Hall, held on the theme Unity is Strength, Let us protect our Environment with various schools under Chiephobozou Block Kohima Nagaland, where 24 students enthusiastically participated in the competition. , Mr Kezhalhoubei Kezieo of Don Bosco School, Chiephobozou bagged the first prize, followed by Visituo Rio from Govt. High School, Nerhema and Langphong Mehishu from Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Chiechama. Ketoulhounuo from Govt. Middle School, Tekhuzie Nerhema received the people s choice award. They all received a cash prize and citation.
