Special features of the organization

DHRUVA evolved as an associate organization of BAIF to spearhead the initiative of tribal development in south Gujarat region. DHRUVA s flagship tree based farming model (Wadi) is being successfully implemented in this region for the past three decades integrated with other activities health, women empowerment, water resources development, sanitation, quality of life, enterprise development etc. The emphasis has been on cluster based multi-dimensional approach resulting in holistic development & better livelihood avenues. Over the years, DHRUVA has been able to reach out to more than 30000 families in the predominantly tribal areas of Navsari, Valsad, Dangs & Silvassa.
