The most outstanding achievement of the organisation is the credibility and the good name that it has earned for it as an NGO, equally, with the donors, the government and the target groups that it serves. , , Secondly, the Organisation has been well able to establish itself both physically and financially, earning for itself a good infrastructural base with a strong team of qualified, experienced and dedicated personnels. , , Thirdly, we have been able to effectuate women s empowerment for a large number of target groups right from the girl children, adolescent girls to the grown up women by providing a combination of essential services. , , Fourthly, we have been accorded the status of the Mother NGO for the RCH Programme, sponsored by the Government of India, for districts of Aurangabad and Bhabhua of Bihar State. , , Fifthly, in June 2006, DORD was awarded the status of the Nodal NGO for two districts of Aurangabad and Arwal of Bihar by the Council for Advancement of People s Action and Rural Technology (CAPART) to implement the innovative projects, support grassroots level organisations and develop a data bank for coordination with other agencies. , , Sixthly, we have also been accorded the status of the Nodal NGO by CAPART for the districts of Aurangabad and Arwal to implement the innovative projects, support grassroots level organisations and develop a data bank for coordination with other agencies.
