Special features of the organization

Darsan Foundation was established in March 2002 by a group of dynamic young youths with a vision of an alternative model of development, which is economically, socially, environmentally sustainable, which provides basic needs for all upholding the values such as equality, justice and integrity. The objective of Darsan Foundation is to plan and execute integral development project to improve the living condition and welfare of women, children and backward sections of rural Keral. Darsan Foundation implemented a project for Rain Water Harvesting with the aid of CAPART. Darsan Foundation is the Support NGO of Tsunami Emergency Assistance Project(TEAP), Fisheries Dept. Govt. of Kerala. Darsan Foundation is exempted from the payment of tax and got 12 A registration from the Income Tax Commissioner. Darsan Foundation provides awareness generation programmes in the field of legal, Environmental, HIV/AIDS etc.
