chetak asha school

chetak Asha School Bathinda is run by Army for the physically and metally retarded childrens of army personnel and local civilians. This school is equippeed with physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, sensary therapy, occupational therapy, prosthetic therapy,vocational training & education, training and education on activities of daytoday living,prevocational training homecare & medico social follow up. Childrens are thought vocational traing like card making, candle making, paper bag making, fabric printing etc. childrens are being groomed and tought so that they can be part of main stream societyin future. even childrens with minor disabilities are sent to normal schools after sucessful treament and management in Asha school. the childrens of this school has participated in punjab special olympics in recent years and has won medals in various events.
