Special features of the organization

A Charitable trust titled District 324 A1 Lions Foundation for the Blind, was established which later morphed into CHENNAI LIONS FOUNDATION FOR THE BLIND. Founder members picked up visually impaired from streets, railway stations, built a team of 39 who were trained free of cost. Things fell into place when philanthropist Ln. Leo Muthu who donated 21600 sq.ft. of land. The then Intl. President Ln.Rohit C Mehta laid Foundation stone in 1993. Building nearly 15000 sq.ft. housing the workshop.,
