Special features of the organization

Established in 1980 and registered in 1990, CVS has been involved in various developmental activities in different areas of Health & Family Welfare, STI, RTI, HIV, AIDS, Rural Development, Welfare of the aged, Education (Non-Formal Education, Vocational Education and Training), Women & Child Development, Women Empowerment, Self Help Group Formation and Awareness Generation Activities. Major activities undertaken for last years are following : , -CVS successfully completed the implementation of IEC Scheme of Indian System of Medicine & Homeopathy in Meham Block of Rohtak District of Haryana with financial support of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare Deptt. of Indian System of Medicine & Homeopathy through SOSVA, New Delhi , - CVS has successfully completed Promotion of Small Family Norms & Population Control By Encouraging Adoption of Spacing Methods supporting by SCOVA, IPP-VII (World Bank Project) , - CVS has successfully completed the Project Promotion of Spacing Methods in Newly Married & Couples with less than two Children with financial assistance from Min. of H &FW, Govt. of India under PVOH-II (Private Voluntary Organization for Health) , -CVS is successfully implementing project of Rural Building Centre at Meham with financial assistance from Ministry of Rural Development through HUDCO, New Delhi , -CVS is successfully running One Day Care Centre for the Aged at Bhaini Surjan Village of District Rohtak with financial support from Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India for last ten years. , - CVS has successfully completed Swa-shakti Project in Alewa Block of Jind Distt. with financial support from Haryana Women Development Corporation, Chandigarh under Haryan Rural Women Development & Empowerment Project (HRWDEP). , - CVS has been successfully running an Old Age Home at Meham both for male and female which provides Library, Health check-up, Referral, Nutrition, Outing/Visit, Accommodation, Access to Information and Entertainment Services to more than 25 aged with financial support from Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India. , -CVS has successfully carried out Awareness Generation Programme among NFE Children on Bio Diversity Conservation with financial support from CEE Delhi under Darwin Initiatives.
