Centre for Youth Development and Activities

Centre for Youth Development and Activities was initiated to provide a platform to young people as well as adolescents to grow as responsible, productive and health individuals in society. For this CYDA organises various events such as Festivals, seminars, training, skill development, national and interntional conferences, film festivals etc. CYDA presently working in around 70 schools in Pune city reaching to over 8000 young people per year. CYDA so far reached out to over half a million young people in Maharashtra, Chhatisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. CYDA has also working very closely with schools, colleges and youth organisations. CYDA participated widely on the issues of youth policy development both at National level as well as part of Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh Youth Policy development proceses. CYDA works closely with various corporate in Pune. CYDA provided almost 200 youth volunteers for Mungeli district in Chhattisgarh to make the district Open Defecation free. The engagement in Mungeli started in April 2016 and in November 2016 entire district became open defecation free. CYDA has organised entrepreneurship program for many young people. So far around 23 business enterprises has been initiated in various states of India.
