Environmental Efficiency and Carrying Capacity(EE&CC) are two strong indicators of sustainable development contributing to global sustainability and smart cities with smart resource regions at local level. , We have launched a website by www.centreforenvironmentalefficiency.org in which video clippings, pictures, write ups etc are included to give awareness of the innovative and robust concepts which take environment and development hand-in-hand , We are giving presentations at various forums like Institution of Engineers, Institution of Town Planners, Indian Institute of architects etc. This is to create awareness of this concept contributing to global to local prosperity. , We have published a book by name Environmental Efficiency and Carrying Capacity Indicators. We have opened a facebook page for CEE in which Environmental Efficiency and Carrying Capacity concepts are explained in simple words. We have associated with conducting seminars and have published research papers. We have associated with the Greater Cochin Development Authority in formulating sustainable projects for Greater Kochi Metropolitan Area. Kochi Hygeia Valley, Cycle Tracks, logistic centre based on EE Approach etc are only some of them. , Centre for Environmental Efficiency volunteered to take up this innovative idea for taking part in the smart city challenge of Government of India
