We have imparted training on new agricultural technologies to nearly 1500 farmers adopting organic farming practices and SRI technology over 500 acres. We formed Self Help Groups and initiated one women federation and one farmer federation. We have set up model integrated farm to demonstrate the susutainable agricultural practices to the farmers. Environmental awareness training to 30 schools in Puducherry. Successfully introduced vermi composting technology in Puducherry and nearly 170 members are producing vermi compost from farm waste in rural villages. Mobilized Rs.2 crores from the nationalized banks to the Self Help Groups. Guiding the agricultural graduates for the agriculture related enterprises. Adopted one village under village development programme supported by NABARD.We initiated one training institute to impart training on microenterprises and new agricultural technologies to the rural poor and farming communities.
