1.Climate Smart Agriculture , Executed pilots in 16 villages of Achampet Tq TS. Established Climate Monitoring Stations, organized Crop water budgeting exercises, developed context specific practices through pilots during 2016-10. Farmers were trained through FFS, Organic farming. Enhanced crop productivity, saved water and improved soil health. , 2. NRM, Watersheds , Developed 12 watersheds in Gadwal Tq. Executed plans. Improved yields of crops, milk, meat, farmers income. , 3. Livelihoods , Mapped resources, infrastructure and livelihoods in 16 villages, Achampet, TS. Ground water , Formed Water Management Committees at habitation, federated at Hydrological Unit. Capacitated to monitor, use water efficiently. Water users were trained on FFS, Farmer Water Schools in 16 villages, Mbnr district under APFAMGS Project supported by FAO. , 6. Tank management , Final Evaluation of KS-CBTMP during 2009. Stud conducted on lakes status in Hyderabad funded by HMDA. GoAP , 7. River Basin Management , CARE has prepared River Basin Profile. Prepared Integrated River Basin Plan for Wangchu River in Bhutan. Organized several meetings. Prepared report during 2008. , 8. Irrigation management , Water Users been organized into groups in 12 tanks, trained, facilitated to plan, execute. Child Labor Education , Rescued child labor from seed production farms, provided residential education facilities, mainstreamed into residential schools, supported for continued education of about 1350 children in 15 years. RBC was visited by CM Sri N Chandrababu Naidu. CARE got awards thrice by District collector. Worked with identified Government schools in AP, TS, KS, Maharastra, Gujarat states. provided support in 6 years to improve attendance, children performance. Project funded by Monsanto company. , 10. Urban slum development , Solid waste management- Developed slum specific plans for 23 slums, funded by HMDA, Hyderabad. Executed social development activities in 18 slums. Contributed for Hussainsagar lake protection. , 11. Vocational training , Skill development- adolescent boys, girls were been trained on vocations and supported for practicing. , 12. Women, Children, Tribal , Formed SHGs, FPOs facilitated execution of programs in more than 100 villages. , 13. Health , Executed RCH program in Ija Mandal of Mbnr district.
