Special features of the organization

CARMELITE FATHERS is a trust formed at Carmel Niwas, the Monastery of the Discalced Carmelite Fathers (OCD) of St. Pius X Province Manjummel. An agreement was made on August 29, 1984 between the Arch Bishop Angelo Fernandez and the Manjummel Province for the purpose of erecting a CARMELITE FATHERS monastery at Okhla. Manjummel Province acquired from the Arch Diocese a plot of land measuring 1500 sq. yds. The said plot of land is the property of Manjummel Province.
