Care Foundation has been implementing targeted intervention program for injecting drug users in two districts of Manipur namely imphal east and bishnupur. And another Integrated care clinics which is a linkage services for injecting drug user their spouse and children. Major activities include case management of antiretroviral therapy and hiv testing at Integrated counseling testing and tuberculosis screening and sexual transmitted disease screening and general health care including laboratory diagnosis for people living with hiv as well as basic services for spouses of injecting drug users. So far in imphal east district we have achieved coverage of 159 injecting drug user for needles syringe and condom and 100 injecting drug users for opioid substitution therapy and 119 spouses of injecting drug users. In bishnupur district 391 injecting drug users have covered under needle syringe and condom services and 91 under opioid substitution therapy and 124 female sex workers were currently giving necessary services. , Under integrated care clinics 4478 antiretroviral therapy cases and 1877 tested for hiv and 189 screened for tuberculosis and 766 were screened for sexually transmitted infections across the state of Manipur. , Under control of parent to child transmission of hiv parts of bishnupur district was covered and through outreach intervention so far 142 hiv positive women were identified and contacted out of which 112 women deliver their child free from hiv and rest are lost of follow up due to various reasons. , Under tuberculosis awareness program in imphal eats district so far 556 household were surveyed and given awareness on tuberculosis. , As part of advocacy and networking with multiple stakeholders we have been continuously join hand with many cso government agencies mainly health institutions and department of state aids control society and department of social welfare manipur during events or community participations. , As a part of community lead awareness and treatment for viral hepatitis c we have initiated in alow threshold manner due to financial constraint. This is critical because many hiv positive persons who are also living with hepatitis c infection are still in dilemma because antiretroviral therapy is available free of cost at government hospitals but treatment for viral hepatitis is out of reach to many common man living with viral hepatitis c.
