Special features of the organization

Over the years the Society has been working untiringly to achieve the following objectives with the well- knit organizational structure. , , a) To preserve and promote Buddhist cultural heritage of India and the local folk culture including rituals, performing arts and local traditional handicrafts. , , b) To preserve and protect holy places, sacred enclosures and historical monuments in the West Kameng and Tawang districts of Arunachal Pradesh. , , c) To establish and run hospitals, schools and other educational institutions for the benefit of the poor and unprivileged section of the rural population. , , d) To undertake research and publication works. , We have established the following institutions for the socio-cultural and spiritual upliftment of the tribals in this frontier region: , i) Gontse Gaden Rabgye Ling Monastery, Bomdila , ii) Central Institute of Himalayan Culture Studies, Dahung(Now taken over by the Govt. of India) , iii) Shanti Deva Vidyalaya, Mon Bomdila , iv) Monyul Development Centre, Lhou , v) Gorsam Stupa Culture Centre, Zemithang , vi) Jangchub Choeling Nunnery, Lhou , vii) Dolma Lhakhang, Lumla , viii) Computer Training Center, Mon Bomdila , ix) Sowa-Rigpa and Allopathic Clinic, Bomdila
