BTM Cultural Academy

i BTM Cultural Academy,Bangalore today is proud of actively propagating Indian Classical Music and Dance since last over twenty years, completing an useful service of 25 years in March next year.The Academy has organized 475 programs so far and reaching a mile stone of 500 concerts shortly. The Academy celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a music festival for 6 days in April 2012 and released a unique souvenir appreciated by one and all.Since April 1992 the Academy has been organizing uninterruptedly monthly music concerts by leading and upcoming artistes from all over south. Having started with one concert a month it is now organizing nearly 25 concerts a year, including a few classical dance programs and hundustani music concerts. The Academy organizes special thematic concerts periodically in addition to the Aradhana Mahothsava Sapthaha in January every year. Jugalabandis ,voca; and ins, trumental duets , instrumental ensembles , ragam thanam pallavi concerts arranged by the Academy are well received. The Academy has won respect and admiration of musicians and music lovers alike with the voluntary and honorary services of the committee of dedicated members. The department of Kannada and culture Government of Karnataka and ministry of culture ,Government of India recognizing the services of the academy to the cause of classical arts gives financial assistance every year and the income tax department has not exempted donations from payment of tax by the donors but also recognized the academy as trust.
