The organising principles of the Foundation was that if education has to fulfil its transformative power to society then it has to be a constant and continues endeavour. Secondly while there is a universality to the knowledge and principles of school education it must be brought to life in a deeply contextual manner. Thirdly in order to attain systemic improvement it is necessary to work on all aspects and levels of education with all stakeholders i.e. school community and education system.
