The initial intervention of the congregation was empowerment through education for the economically poor and down trodden communities.The Trust also established a hostel for the girls at St. Ritas Convent, Thevara and a formation house to educate young girls at Aluva and as part of empowerment of women and sisters are doing the pastoral services in the parishes and rural areas of Ennakad, Mavelikara.,
