The association is founded on the day of World Social Work Day celebration 2014 and registered very recently at Chandigarh. The objective is to work for Social Work Education, its promotion, professional training, capacity building. The association is having a mandate to work on social issues like HIV/AIDS, POVERTY, DISASTER MANAGEMENT, PUBLIC HEALTH, EDUCATION, SKILL TRAINING ETC.
