Special features of the organization

ARUNA is known as a pioneering health NGO in the state of Orissa concentrating the issue of migration and HIV/AIDS since 1995. We work in Ganjam district with the out-migrant population, their families and adolescents, youths on HIV/AIDS and Sexual Reproductive Health. Over the years we have touched the entire gamut of HIV/AIDS and worked / participated in different layers of HIV prevention, control, planning, study, research, advocacy and networking. Now in our 10 years strategy we have included another global challenge that is Climate Change. It is a correlated issue to migration, HIV. Hence we have decided to work locally on this issue also.
