Aryabhatta Foundation was created on 20th Jan 2009 with the objectives of (a) spreading scientific education among general public and spreading awareness against superstition (b) spreading awareness on climate change (c) Empowering socially and economically weaker children to pursue higher studies and spread education among the weaker section of the society. , , To fulfill its objectives it plants trees every year and runs an awareness vehicle called SABUJA RATHA (Green chariot) every year to spread awareness for plantation and distributes saplings among general public in the district of Ganjam, Odisha also uses folk songs and dances for the purpose. , , It organizes competitions among the students for the purpose stated above, grants scholarships to weaker section students to pursue higher studies. Organizes programmes against superstition. During Phailine in the district of Ganjam the Aryabhatta Foundation had engaged itself in the relief work and erected hundreds of trees grounded by the devastating cyclone. It has done all these work from the contribution of the chairman and its volunteers. It has neither received nor applied for any Government or any other fund.
