Anubhuti Sewa Samiti is a non-profitable registered voluntary organisation with its head office at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. More than a decade ago it came up as the conscious response to work with people on the margins.The organisation endeavours to empathise with the marginalised and work for their entitlements.Anubhuti has focused on Kanshiram Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh and its activities are concentrated in villages and towns along the River Ganges. Area is also disaster prone with floods during the rainy season and fire incidents during the summer. The project office is located in Patiyali tehsil of the district. Mega-Speciality Health Camps in collaboration with institutions like Escorts Heart Institute, Delhi; Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Delhi; Sri Ram Murti College of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Bareilly; Mahavir International, Delhi; J.N. Medical College; Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh; General Health Camps in Unreached villages; Mobile Health Camps during the disasters especially flood and fire; Supportive services to poor and needy in the treatment of chronic illness; Health Seminars on epidemics and fatal diseases due to hygiene, sanitation and life style.With Patiyali Lab, Anubhuti has experimented in the pedagogy domain providing shared space to children and their creativity. Young children are facilitated to share and write texts on a given theme/dream or topic of their interest. They come, imagine, write and share in self induced environment. In process of sharing their write-ups, they are developing the skills of narration, imagination and constructive criticism. Collaboration with the prestigious coaching Pace IITian to provide concession and support to Anubhuti identified students. Anubhuti talent hunt programme to identify and support meritorious students from humble background.Anubhuti has extensively worked in the field of disaster mitigation especially fire and flood. Trainings have also been conducted for capacity building of the locals in fire and flood mitigation.
