Background information of Society [NGO] Institute The Aniket Bahu-Uddeshiya Sanstha Umred is working in Nagpur District Since last 10 years in the field of health. The following Activities / Services our carried out by SANSTHA . , I) Twenty Bedded Hospital - , The sanstha/NGO is having 20 Bedded Hospitals Sanctioned by Minister of Social justice GOI Vide latter No.11020/113/2008-SCD-III dated 26/12/2008 is providing the health Services in R/o. curative, Promotive, Preventive services to the Rural population. These services arecatering to 1,46,843 population. , These services comprises of out-patient department to those at who required O.P.D Services. The patients are being examined, diagnosed and provided treatment. During the period of more than 10 year nearby 1,30,000 out patients were treated. , The patient those who needed the emergency services and admission they have being treated nearby 32000 patients have been treated so far. , II) Mobile Clinic - , The Mobile Dispensary is providing the services to the Rural, Tribal population of villages living in remote areas, not affording the too pro expenditure to come over in hospital, The patients those who are critically ill, Men, Women and Children. , The 1,48,000 population encompasses under the mobile clinic and dispensary. , III) Sickle Cell Disease Control Progamme - , The NGO is engaging in carrying out Sickle Cell Disease Control Programme in Nagpur District. , The Total Population 14,74,811 covered in theprogramme , i) The following activities were carried out in this Programme. , ii) Screening of Community , a) Solubility Test 5,36,133 , b) Electrophoresis Test 12,050 , IV) De-addiction Programme - , The De-addiction Programme the awareness campaign was organized in villages and propagation of massages of adverse effect of Drugs, Alcohol, Tobacco, Smoking etc. Propagated amongst the public. , The total No. participated 9800 , Treatment 601 , Campaign organized 52 , VI) Health Education Campaign For - , A) HIV/ AIDS Prevention- , B) Immunization Campaign - , C) Disease Diagnostic Camps - , D) Family Welfare Programme - , E) Environmental Sanitation - , F) Socio Economic Activities - , G) Maternal and Child Health / RCH -
