Special features of the organization

Unlike other clusters, where there will be 1 or 2 huge projects, the Coir Cluster addresses problems of the coir workers to promote their group activities at the bottom level. It is the only cluster in India sanctioned under IIUS having innumerable projects ranging from Rs.0.50 lakhs to Rs. 1300 lakhs implemented at more than 3500 locations. We are privileged to announce that with the completion of this scheme we have provided employment to more than 20,000 people directly and twice indirectly.
