Special features of the organization

founded in 1956 with avowed objective of promoting Naturopathy as enjoined in the 18- Points Programme of Mahatma Gandhi. Its first President was Shri Balkova Bhave, brother of Vinoba Bhave who was entrusted with Urlikanchan Nisargopachar Kendra when Gandhiji founded it as the first Naturopathy Hospital in Pune. Among many dedicated members of the Parishad, one finds the names like Dr. V B Rao of Hyderabad, Dr. V. Modi from Gorakhpur, Dr. Verendra Hegde of Karnataka, Shri C.A. Menon, etc.
