ADHAR IS A JOURNEY FROM , DEPENDENCE TO INDEPENDENCE , & FROM , INDEPENDENCE TO INTERDEPENDENCE , Adhar is a women s Swawlambi cooperative society . The main objective of Adhar is to work for Socio-Economic upliftment of the Under Privileged people especially women & Adolescent Girls of Bihar. Adhar develop the skills of these women & Girls through Different types of Vocational & SKILL DEVELOPMENT Training such as, , Madhubani & Tikuli Craft, Aplic Work, Embroidery, Tailoring, House-Keeping, Fruits & Vegetable Preservation & NUTRITION Nutrition, Infant and Young Child Feeding, etc. and then help them to self employed or get a Jobs or creating markets for the products which are manufactured by them. , Adhar is specialized in creating awareness among the people of weaker section especially for Adolescent Girl & women about the Health, Malnourishment amongst Women, Adolescent Girls & Children under 3years. , Adhar is involved with different types of community work especially in the slum areas. It arranges for regular health checkup camps, free eye checkup & operations, water and sanitation drives etc. mainly for adolescent, women & children. , Adhar is working closely with different governmental and donor agencies like Women Development Corporation, State Health Society, Bihar; Welfare Depptt. Govt of Bihar, , Co-Operative Deptt. Bihar, Upendra Maharathi, UNICEF Bihar; ICDS Bihar, Food and Nutrition board, Ministry of Women and Child Development , Govt. of India; Micronutrient Initiative India,Power Grid Corporation of india, Bihar Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Bihar Industries Association, Deepayatan, etc. , ONGOING TRAINING PROGRAM , 1.
