Aastha Foundation Aurangabad is a NGO working to provide a much needed attention, and care, love, dignity and respect to the Senior Citizens and make the golden years of their life more comfortable. Aastha believes that Ageing with Dignity is possible. , , Aastha Foundation, Aurangabad is registered under Bombay public Trust Act and Societies Act and is established in 2008 by a group of young, dynamic, socially aware people with a dream of making positive changes in various areas of our Society. , , Aastha Foundation, Aurangabad proposes to establish `Basant Prabha-Visawa a residential housing and assisted living for the Senior Citizens. The NGO organizes various activities for Senior Citizens regarding their health, safety, security & entertainment. , Aastha Foudnation Aurangabad has launched a certificate course in `Geriatric Care` in association with TATA Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai and is run with the help from doctors of Hedgewar Hospital Aurangabad at Hedgewar Hospital. , The participants who have completed this course are fully equipped to serve senior citizens who are suffering from any short or long term illness. Their approach towards service is qualitatively different due to the quality learning process that they have undergone for 16 weeks.
